MEET THE TEAM THAT HAS CREATED THE BEST BARTENDING SCHOOL ON THIS SIDE OF THE MISSISSIPPI

Rohini Moradi, Cocktail Queen

Your founder and director at The Cocktail Camp (TCC), Rohini's story is the ultimate testimony of what a sink-or-swim mentality can do for your career.  Since fainting on her very first day behind a bar, she picked herself up quickly and often to learn some of the most valuable lessons life has to offer throughout her ten years of bartending in San Francisco.  Rohini's passion for cocktail craft is informed by her avid research of herbal medicine, nutrition, mixology, and her thirst for knowledge, which is as strong as ever!  To serve a better-tasting tomorrow, Rohini founded TCC in 2015, helping up-and-comers stand out among the crowd of tired and uninspired traditionalists in the bar industry with expanded palettes and fresh perspectives.  She hasn't fainted since that first day behind the bar.

You might recognize her from... Club Deluxe, Elbo Room, or Alembic; as Brand Ambassador Gem & Bolt Mezcal, Urbanite Editor of SOMA Magazine; as the creator of Roya Spirit; or as co-founder of CEREMONY beverage catering.

Luke sweeney, the soul-ful comedian

Self-proclaimed the ‘Hardest Working Man in No Business’, Luke Sweeney is a lifelong musician who was yanked into the industry back in 2006 at the behest of his roommates, who got him started as a barback.  He has since tended at ‘some of the worst nightclubs in the city,’ as well as upscale restaurants, galleries, and venues throughout the Bay Area - including, most recently, a tenure as bar manager at the beautific Terra Gallery - gaining a well-rounded knack for cocktail craft along the way.  In a side gig that presents endless avenues for learning, Sweeney soaked up knowledge from some of the very brightest bartenders in the world (see: Thomas Waugh; Daniel Hyatt), and has thrived as an instructor at The Cocktail Camp since 2017.  With an artistic bend and an altruistic approach to his work, Luke is the mixology host that will give you a healthy dose of humor in each cocktail.

You might recognize him from: Terra Gallery, Space Gallery, Temple, 1015

Logan Preston Hesse, The Spirit Scholar

Logan Hesse traded chicken strips for cocktail shakers at the tender age of 12 in his dad's bar and hasn't looked back since. With a life steeped in spirits from Tahoe to Melbourne, Logan's knack for the craft has matured as finely as the whiskies he pours. This seasoned bar sage brings over three decades of tippling tales and a scholarly swing to his mixology, making him a beloved fixture in San Francisco's cocktail scene. At The Cocktail Camp, Logan doesn't just teach mixology; he infuses courses with the flair and wisdom only a lifetime behind bars can brew. He's mixed, muddled, and mastered the art, ready to distill decades of dizzying experiences into digestible lessons that are as spirited as they are educational. Catch him behind the bar, or better yet, behind a classroom at The Cocktail Camp, turning cocktail dreams into certified realities.

You may recognize him from: Trick Dog, Lost Marbles Brewpub, Symphony Imports, J Woods Beverage Group, The Dubliner
