Meet Rohini Moradi, Cocktail Queen
Rohini Moradi founded and directs The Cocktail Camp. She is a bartender, herbalist, cocktail educator and writer, and she has put more than 2,700 graduates behind the bar and hosted more than 1,700 events.
She fainted on her very first day behind a bar. Then she picked herself up, quickly and often, and spent the next ten years bartending in San Francisco learning some of the most valuable lessons life has to offer.
Rohini's passion for cocktail craft is informed by her avid research into herbal medicine, nutrition and mixology, and by a thirst for knowledge that's as strong as ever.
- Early career
Started bartending at 21 and spent nearly ten years behind San Francisco bars: Alembic, Club Deluxe, Elbo Room, Space Gallery and Beauty Bar. Co-founded the San Francisco Bartending Academy.
- 2013
Created Roya Spirit, an organic, zero-calorie line of cocktail syrups and tinctures.
- 2014
Named “Cocktail Queen” by SOMA Magazine, where she also wrote about the bar world as Urbanite Editor.
- 2015
Founded The Cocktail Camp in a Mission District bar. Revenue doubled every year as it grew. Taught herbal mixology at Headlands Center for the Arts.
- 2016
Her chakra cocktails were featured in 7x7.
- Tech & brands
Led cocktail team building for Google, Facebook, Twitter, Lyft and Uber. Served as Brand Ambassador for Gem & Bolt Mezcal.
- 2017
Became managing partner of CEREMONY beverage catering, running bars for weddings and corporate events of up to 500 guests.
- 2019
Hired as Corporate Director of Bars for Shula’s, as covered in FSR Magazine.

Consulting partner for Solstice in Irvine, named “the next O.C. cocktail hotspot” by Orange Coast.
